What it does
Device Setup (Add a New Device)
This connects a new Beakn device (like a 2-switch module, IR Blaster, or other device) to your home Wi-Fi so you can control it from the app.
Add Devices
This is how you bring a new device (a switch, fan, light, plug, and so on) into the app. There are two ways to start, so you can use whichever is easier.
Setup
Device Setup (Add a New Device)
Important: Beakn devices work on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Please pick the 2.4 GHz network, not the 5 GHz one.
How to use
Device Setup (Add a New Device)
Step 1 — Start adding
1.On the Home Page, tap Add Device (+) at the top-right. (Or go to Settings → Devices → +.)
2.Select the device category (IR / 2 Switch / Other devices) and tap Next.
Step 2 — Put the device in Reset Mode
3.Put the device into Reset Mode. The reset steps are shown on the screen.
4.Tap Next, then tap Go to Wi-Fi Settings.
5.Connect your phone to the device's own Wi-Fi (for example, SW_2_XXXXXXXX for a 2-Switch).
6.Go back to the app and tap Confirm Connection, then Next.
Step 3 — Connect the device to your home Wi-Fi
7.Select your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
8.Enter the Wi-Fi password and tap Confirm.
9.Wait 20–30 seconds while the device gets configured.
10.Once done, tap Next.
Step 4 — Assign a room and finish
11.Assign the device to a room (or create a new room like Hall).
12.Enter a device name.
13.Tap Create. The device is now set up successfully.
Control the device
14.Go to Devices (bottom menu).
15.Select the room.
16.Tap the switch to start controlling it.

Way 1 — From the Home Page
1.Open the Home Page.
2.Tap the "+" icon at the top of the screen.
3.Choose the type of device you are adding.
4.Follow the steps shown on the screen to finish.
Way 2 — From Settings
1.Tap Settings at the bottom of the screen.
2.Tap Devices.
3.Tap the "+" icon.
4.Choose your device and follow the setup steps to finish.
