Smart BLDC Fan
Β
A BLDC fan uses a different kind of motor to an ordinary ceiling fan. It runs on a fraction of the power and it can be controlled far more finely, so the app gives it more than a simple speed slider.
Β
Speed
Β
Set the fan anywhere from 0 to 5 directly in the app. Zero is off.
Β
Timer
Β
Tap Timer and choose a duration. The fan turns itself off when the time is up. This is the one to use at bedtime.
Β
The three modes
Β
Tap Modes to pick one.
Β
β’Breeze Mode β the fan varies its own speed between 300 RPM and 100 RPM, so the air comes in waves instead of a flat draught. It feels like a natural breeze rather than a machine.
β’Smart Mode β the fan starts at 300 RPM and slowly comes down to 220 RPM over ten hours. It is built for sleeping: strong when you lie down, gentler by morning, and it uses less power through the night.
β’Reverse Mode β the fan turns the other way. In winter this pushes warm air back down from the ceiling instead of blowing air at you.
Β
Schedules and history
Β
β’Settings β Schedules β have the fan come on or go off at set times.
β’History β see when the fan ran and at what setting.
Β
How to use it
Β
1.Open the app and tap Devices.
2.Select the BLDC Fan.
3.Set the speed anywhere between 0 and 5.
4.Tap Timer to set an automatic switch-off.
5.Tap Modes to choose Breeze, Smart or Reverse.
6.Tap Settings to create a schedule.
7.Tap History to see past activity.
Β
Real-life example: A bedroom in Chennai in May. The fan goes on in Smart Mode at 11 pm at 300 RPM, and by 6 am it has eased down to 220 RPM on its own. Nobody wakes up at 3 am to change the speed.
