What this panel replaces
The Full Glass 12M panel replaces the entire switchboard — the plate, all switches, the fan regulator, and the sockets — with a single seamless glass panel. It is not a retrofit or a module swap; the whole face is replaced.
Wall box requirement
•The wall box must be 12M (twelve modules wide) to accept this panel.
•In new construction: the 12M box is prepared during electrical rough-in.
•In existing homes: if the current box is already 12M, it is a direct replacement. If not, minor civil work is required to resize or replace the box before the panel can be fitted.
Neutral wire
•A neutral wire must be present at the board — this is mandatory for all Full Glass variants without exception.
•Most standard switchboards already carry a neutral. Your electrician confirms availability during the site survey.
Phase input
•This panel supports both single-phase and 3-phase input (3-phase support is available on all 6M and larger panels; the 12M qualifies).
•The electrician connects the appropriate live(s) and neutral at the back of the panel according to the supply type.
HD channel wiring
•The 2 HD channels (20A / 2500W each) are wired to heavy-load appliances — geysers, air conditioners, ovens, or any appliance requiring a 20A circuit.
•These are identified on the panel via custom icons configured at manufacture.
Fan channel wiring
•The 1 fan channel uses a capacitive regulator and is wired to the ceiling or exhaust fan. Maximum fan load: 80W.
Socket wiring
•The 2 sockets are integrated into the glass panel and wired as standard switched sockets.
Mounting
1.Wiring is completed at the back of the panel before mounting.
2.The panel attaches to the wall box magnetically — no screws through the glass face.
3.No visible fixings remain after installation.
4.For future servicing, the glass face lifts off magnetically without tools, exposing all wiring terminals.
2-way switching
•2 two-way switch positions are available per panel (standard across all Full Glass variants) for staircase or corridor-style two-way control.
Icon configuration
•Custom icons are configured during manufacturing according to the customer's layout brief (light, fan, curtain, AC, geyser, scene, room name, etc.).
•If wiring changes post-install, icon overlays can be reassigned.
Professional installation
•Free professional installation is offered in 8 cities.
•For all other locations, any licensed electrician can install the panel following Beakn's wiring guide.
