Overview

The Full Glass 4 Switch + 1 Fan + 1 Socket (8M) is a premium smart switchboard panel from Beakn's Full Glass Magnetic Touch range. It is an 8-module-wide, single seamless 3mm toughened glass panel that completely replaces your existing switchboard — plate, switches, fan regulator, and socket — with one flush, screwless glass surface.

This configuration is purpose-built for rooms that need a mix of lighting control (4 channels), a ceiling fan with speed regulation (1 channel), and a switched socket (1 outlet), all in one cohesive panel. At 8M wide, it is suited to large rooms such as living rooms, master bedrooms, or any space where multiple load types coexist on a single board. It supports both single-phase and 3-phase input (3-phase is available on 6M panels and larger, and this 8M panel qualifies).

Installation

What this panel replaces

This 8M panel fully replaces the existing switchboard — the plate, all switches, the fan regulator, and the socket — with one glass panel. Nothing from the old board is reused on the surface.

Wall box requirement

•The wall box (back box / gang box) must match the 8M module size of this panel

•In new construction: the 8M back box is specified and installed during electrical rough-in

•In existing homes: if the current box is already 8M (or the equivalent size), it is a direct replacement; if not, minor civil work is required to resize the cavity — a Beakn installation team or qualified electrician handles this

Neutral wire — mandatory

•A neutral wire must be present at the switchboard location for all Full Glass variants including this panel

•Most modern boards already carry a neutral; your electrician confirms this during site survey

•No neutral = panel cannot be installed (not negotiable for this product)

Phase input

•This 8M panel supports single-phase or 3-phase input

•3-phase support is available on all 6M panels and larger; the 8M size qualifies
