Prerequisites

•Neutral wire — mandatory; a neutral must be present at the switchboard location for all Full Glass variants. Your electrician should confirm this before ordering.

•Wall box size — the wall box must match the 8M module size. In new construction, specify 8M during the electrical rough-in. In existing homes, the current box must already be 8M, or minor civil work will be needed to resize it.

•Phase input — accepts single-phase or 3-phase supply at 8M; confirm your supply type with your electrician.

Installation Process

1.Preparation — confirm neutral wire is available and wall box is 8M. If resizing is needed, complete civil and electrical work first.

2.Wiring — connect live, neutral, and load wires to the panel's terminal block per the wiring diagram. HD channels should be wired to the two heaviest-load circuits (e.g. geyser, AC, oven). Socket wiring connects to the integrated socket terminal. 2-way switch wiring connects to the designated 2-way terminals (2 channels available).

3.Magnetic mounting — align the panel to the wall box and let the magnetic mount secure it. No screws required; no visible fixings on the finished installation.

4.App setup — connect to WiFi via the Beakn app, assign channels, configure icons (if any reassignment is needed post-manufacture), set LED colours, Night Mode, and voice assistant integrations.
