You can control every switch in a room with one short sentence. This works because Google Home groups your devices by room, and your Beakn switches are placed in rooms during setup.

Google Routines (Many Actions in One Command)

A routine joins many actions into one phrase. With a single command, Google can run several Beakn switches together — and also do Google things like read the weather or play music.

Scheduled Routines (Switches Turn On at Set Times)

A Google routine can run at a fixed time, not just by voice. So your Beakn switches can act automatically every day or on chosen days.

Sunrise and Sunset Routines (Timing That Adjusts Daily)

Google routines can use sunrise or sunset as the trigger. The time adjusts on its own every day, based on your home's location.

Google is adding its Gemini AI to Google Home. Instead of building a routine step by step, you can just describe what you want in plain words, and the AI builds it for you — including your Beakn switches.

Setup

Google Routines (Many Actions in One Command)

1.Open the Google Home app.

2.Go to Automations (Routines).

3.Create a new routine.

4.Add your Beakn switches as actions, and set what each one should do.

5.Choose a trigger — a voice phrase, a set time, an alarm being switched off, sunrise/sunset, or someone arriving/leaving.

6.Save the routine. It runs every time the trigger happens.

1.Open the Google Home app → Automations.

2.Create a routine and choose a time trigger (for example, 6:30 AM on weekdays).

3.Add your Beakn switch actions.

4.Save.
