Home Lock (Security Mode)
With one tap, you lock your whole home and the app starts watching for any activity. If someone touches your switches or a sensor or camera notices movement, you get an instant alert. This is perfect for when you leave the house.
Key features of Home Lock
•Intrusion Alerts — You get an instant alert if any switch or device is operated by hand while the home is locked.
•Disable Schedules & Automations (optional) — You can pause all your schedules and automations until you unlock the home.
•Total Shutdown (optional) — Turn OFF every device with one tap. The devices stay OFF even after you unlock.

What Home Lock alerts you about
With Home Lock on, the house is being watched in three separate ways.
Intrusion alerts
If anyone physically operates a switch or a connected device while Home Lock is active, you are told. This catches the case that cameras and motion sensors miss — somebody already inside, touching things.
You get an alert for things like:
•Living room lights turned ON
•Bedroom fan switched OFF
•Kitchen plug operated manually
•A curtain opened by hand
The notification names the device, the room and the time:
> ⚠️ Manual operation detected
> Device: Bedroom Light · Room: Master Bedroom · Time: 7:42 PM
Motion and presence alerts
If a motion sensor or human presence sensor picks up activity, you are notified straight away. This is the one that matters for unauthorised entry, late-night movement, offices after hours, holiday homes and warehouses.
Camera alerts
If you have compatible cameras connected, Home Lock can notify you when they detect motion — a person at the door, movement near the entrance, activity in the garage or the back yard.
How the alerts reach you
•📱 App push notifications — free. Instant, on your phone, always available.
•WhatsApp alerts — Pro. Security alerts straight to WhatsApp. Useful because they arrive whether or not the app is open.
•Email alerts — Pro. Detailed notifications by email, which is what you want if you need a record: office monitoring, remote property management, or anything you may need to refer back to.
WhatsApp and Email alerts run on subscription credits — see Smart Services & Subscriptions.
Real-life example: A family in Nashik locks the home and leaves for a wedding. At 9:40 pm the kitchen light is switched on by hand. The phone shows the device, the room and the time, and a call to the neighbour clears it up in a minute — the maid had come to collect something.
