LPF Retrofit 2 Switch
The LPF Retrofit 2 Switch is a two-channel WiFi smart switch module from Beakn's Low Profile Retrofit range. It installs invisibly behind an existing two-switch Indian switchboard in approximately 15 minutes — no rewiring, no plate change, no civil work. Once fitted, both physical wall switches continue to work exactly as before, and you gain full app control, voice control, scheduling, and automation on top.
It is purpose-built for a two-load switchboard — a typical example is a light and exhaust fan on a remote or secondary board (bathroom, corridor, utility). At 16A per channel with a 16mm profile, it is the smallest-footprint, highest-capacity two-channel retrofit switch available for standard Indian switchboards.

Can it handle a geyser?
Yes. A standard 2kW geyser draws well under the 16A / 1800W resistive rating per channel. For an instant geyser (typically 3kW+), use the LPF HD Module (25A) instead.
Can it handle a 1.5-ton AC?
Yes — a 1.5-ton split AC draws 7–10A, within the 16A relay rating. For a 2-ton AC or instant geyser, step up to the LPF HD Module.
Can it handle an exhaust fan?
Yes. An exhaust fan is an inductive load; the 800W inductive rating per channel is far above any standard exhaust fan's draw (typically 30–60W).

What is required
•A standard Indian switchboard with two switches
•A neutral wire present at the switchboard (required; most Indian boards already have one — electrician confirms during install)
•WiFi network at the installation location
•A licensed electrician (Beakn provides free installation in 8 cities)
Process (approximately 15 minutes)
1.Electrician switches off the MCB / isolates the board
2.Opens the existing switch board face
3.Positions the 16mm module in the cavity behind the switches
4.Connects wiring to the module terminals: Live in, Neutral in, and Load out for each of the two channels
5.Closes the board — switch plate and physical switches are unchanged and undisturbed
6.Restores power; electrician pairs the module to WiFi via the Beakn app

Do my existing switches still work?
Yes — always. The physical wall switches continue to work exactly as before, with or without internet, with or without the app open. App and voice control are added on top, not instead of.
Does the auto-off timer work if someone uses the wall switch?
Yes. Auto-off timers fire regardless of how the load was turned on — app, voice, schedule, or manual wall toggle. You do not need to train family members to use the app for timers to work.
