LPF Retrofit HD Module 25A
The LPF Retrofit HD Module 25A is Beakn's most powerful smart switch module — a high-capacity WiFi retrofit switch designed specifically for extra-heavy electrical loads. It installs invisibly behind any existing standard Indian switchboard in approximately 15 minutes, converting a traditional switch into a fully smart, app- and voice-controlled switch with zero rewiring, zero civil work, and zero change to the visible switch plate.
At 25A and 3000W, the HD Module handles loads that no standard smart switch can — instant geysers, 2-ton ACs, heavy-duty water pumps — while retaining every feature of the broader Low Profile Retrofit range: offline operation, 20 free app features, 4KV surge protection, and a 3-year warranty.
It is the top-of-range variant in the Low Profile Retrofit family, purpose-built where standard 16A modules are insufficient.

Instant Geyser (most common)
Instant geysers draw 3000W — the HD Module is the only Beakn variant rated for this load. Set a 20-minute auto-off timer; the geyser turns off automatically however it was switched on (app, voice, or wall), saving approximately ₹1,500–2,000/month in electricity with no change to family habits.
2-Ton Air Conditioner
2-ton split ACs draw beyond the safe limit of a 16A module. The HD Module's 25A relay handles this directly — no external contactor, no additional relay. Pair with an IR blaster for auto temperature cycling through the night (saves approximately ₹1,000–1,500/month).
Heavy-Duty Water Pumps
High-draw motors and submersible pumps that exceed standard load ratings can be connected directly through the HD Module.

Method
The HD Module installs entirely behind the existing switchboard. No drilling, no plastering, no new surface wiring, and no change to the visible switch plate or physical wall switches.
Steps (performed by electrician):
1.Open the existing switchboard faceplate
2.Place the 16mm HD Module in the cavity behind the board
3.Connect wiring to the module terminals (Live-in, Load-out, Neutral)
4.Close the board — physical switches remain and continue to work as before
5.Connect to WiFi via the Beakn app
6.Configure schedules, timers, and safety settings
Approximate time: ~15 minutes per board

FAQ
What makes the HD Module different from the standard LPF modules?
The HD Module has a 25A relay rated for 3000W — compared to 16A on all other Low Profile Retrofit variants. It is designed specifically for extra-heavy loads: instant geysers (3000W), 2-ton ACs, and heavy-duty pumps that would overload a standard module.
Can the HD Module handle my instant geyser?
Yes. Instant geysers typically draw 3000W — exactly the maximum load rating of the HD Module. It is the primary design use case. Pair with the auto-off timer so the geyser shuts off after your set duration regardless of how it was switched on.
Can it handle a 2-ton AC?
Yes. A 2-ton split AC draws more current than a standard 16A module can safely carry. The HD Module's 25A relay handles this directly without any external contactor or relay.
Does the auto-off timer work if someone uses the physical wall switch?
Yes. The auto-off timer fires no matter how the load was switched on — app, voice, schedule, or manual wall toggle. You do not need to train the household to use the app for the timer to work.
Does it need a neutral wire?
Yes. A neutral wire must be present at the switchboard. This is a requirement for all Low Profile Retrofit variants including the HD Module. Most Indian switchboards already have a neutral; your electrician confirms during the 15-minute install.
Does it work without internet?
