Installation
What You Need Before Installing
•An existing ROMA-format modular plate (Anchor Roma, Legrand Myrius, GM Modular, Havells Crabtree, or any of 25+ ROMA-compatible Indian brands)
•A neutral wire available at the switchboard — this is mandatory for all Beakn Modular Touch variants; confirm with your electrician before purchase
•A standard bell/chime unit connected in your circuit
Installation Process
1.Switch off the MCB/circuit breaker for the bell circuit
2.Remove the existing mechanical bell-push module from the ROMA plate — the plate, screws, and frame stay in place
3.Connect wiring to the Beakn Bell Push RPro module terminals (live, neutral, load — matching your existing bell circuit)
4.Snap the RPro module into the ROMA plate — it locks into the same plate-locking points as any ROMA-format mechanism
5.Restore power and follow the in-app setup to connect to WiFi and configure LED colours, Night Mode, and automations
6.No new plate, no new frame, no new screws required
Wiring Notes
•Neutral wire is required at the switchboard — most Indian switchboards already have one; your electrician can confirm
•The bell-push is a momentary contact — wiring follows standard bell-push circuit topology (live → switch → bell → neutral)
•Operating voltage range: 110–250V AC, 50/60Hz — compatible with Indian single-phase supply
Mixing Smart and Non-Smart Modules
•You can install the Bell Push RPro alongside non-smart modules (standard mechanical switches, fan regulators, sockets) in the same ROMA plate
•Any ROMA-compatible mechanism from Anchor, Legrand, GM, Havells, or 25+ other brands can share the same plate
•Add smart control one module at a time — no need to replace the whole plate at once
