Do I need a Gateway for remote unlock?
No. The Smart Lock Ultra connects directly to your home WiFi and has built-in remote unlock — no Gateway needed.
What WiFi does it need?
Only 2.4 GHz WiFi. It does not work on 5 GHz-only networks. WiFi must be reachable at the door.
What happens if WiFi/internet goes down?
Fingerprint, PIN, RFID card, and mechanical key access all continue to work fully offline. Only remote app unlock pauses until connectivity is restored.
What if the battery dies?
Use the USB-C port with a standard power bank for emergency power, or use one of the 2 included mechanical keys as a universal fallback.
How long do the batteries last?
Approximately 6 months on 4x AA batteries, with low-battery alerts sent in advance.
Can I use this on a double/French door?
