What a Smart QR Tag is
A Smart QR Tag is a QR code you create in the app and attach to something in the real world. Anyone who scans it sees exactly the information you chose to share — and nothing else.
The point is that it works both ways round. For a contact card, you are giving out details. For a lost pet or a set of keys, a stranger can reach you without you having published your phone number anywhere.
The seven types
Each type asks for its own fields before it generates the code.
•📇 Contact Card — a digital business or personal card. Name, phone numbers, email, WhatsApp and social links. Someone scans it and has your details without typing anything. You can also write it to an NFC tag for tap-to-share.
•🔑 Keychain Tag — for your keys. Key name, owner name, and an optional message for whoever finds them.
•🧳 Luggage Tag — for suitcases and travel bags. Luggage details, owner information, and a message. If a bag goes missing in transit, whoever picks it up can identify the owner.
•🔍 Lost & Found Tag — for laptops, cameras, wallets, backpacks and other valuables. Item name, owner details, optional message.
•🚗 Car / Vehicle Tag — goes on the windscreen. Lets anyone contact you about bad parking, a roadside emergency or an accident, without your number being visible on the glass.
•🐶 Pet Tag — pet name, animal type, age, gender, owner details and any special notes. If your pet is found, the finder can reach you immediately.
•🔔 QR Video Doorbell — put the code by your front door. A visitor scans it and starts a video call with you. You see and speak to them from anywhere, with no doorbell hardware installed at all.
Real-life example: A dog slips its collar in a Bengaluru park. Whoever finds it scans the tag on the collar, sees "Simba, 3 years, allergic to chicken" and a contact button, and calls. The owner's number was never printed on anything.
